Unlike the RP-1, the focus of the RP-X is on an extremely strong response (initial bite) and a consistently high friction coefficient across the entire temperature window. It has been intensively tested on the world's most demanding racetracks to provide durability and performance that meet the requirements of modern GT and touring cars. Important Notice on Road Legality:
Like all products from the EBC Racing department, the RP-X was developed exclusively for motorsport. It does not have ECE-R90 approval and may not be used on public roads.
Pro Tip: Due to its aggressive response, we particularly recommend the RP-X for vehicles with modern ABS control and high-strength brake discs, such as the EBC Blade Disc, to fully exploit its potential.
