ACT XACT Prolite Flywheel – Maximum Lightness for Uncompromising Performance
Are you looking for the absolute minimum inertia to achieve maximum acceleration? The ACT XACT Prolite is the ultimate choice for those who refuse to compromise. When milliseconds in engine response decide between winning and losing, this ultra-lightweight flywheel is your most vital tool.
The Prolite series is the lightweight powerhouse of the ACT lineup. Specifically engineered for racing, rally, and high-performance track builds, its radically reduced weight allows your engine to rev as freely and quickly as you ever thought possible. The result: extremely direct throttle response and significantly reduced drivetrain stress during rapid load changes.
Despite the extreme weight reduction, safety remains the priority. While other lightweight solutions sacrifice stability, ACT’s one-piece Chrome-Moly steel forging guarantees superior strength that withstands the rigors of professional motorsport.

Important Installation Notes
Driving Experience: The Prolite offers the most aggressive revving behavior. Please note that due to the low mass, drivability (e.g., pulling away from a stop) may be slightly reduced, and gear chatter at idle is more noticeable than with the Streetlite version.
Maintenance: Like all ACT steel flywheels, the Prolite is service-friendly and can be resurfaced if necessary, lowering the long-term operating costs of your race car.
