The rear silencers can be mounted on 1.8l Turbo models on their own only by using the Y link pipe AUA4/8E-ADT. On 2.0l Turbo models the rear silencers can be mounted on their own only by using the Y link pipe AUA4/8E-2B and 2x the adaptor A63-… VW. On all other models the rear silencers can be mounted on their own only by using the Y link pipe AUA4/8E-2A and the adaptor A63-… VW.
Important note on installing Bastuck components:
Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
