Only the complete system can be mounted! For vehicles with original rear apron without open integrated tailpipe trims LH + RH, the original rear apron of the 2.0l model with open tailpipe trims LH+RH must be mounted additionally. Else, a usage of the duplex system is not possible!

Using the remote control AG/FB-EP, the exhaust flap can be opened manually. It will be opened permanently afterwards. Not permitted in public road traffic! The remote control is included when purchasing the rear silencers with exhaust flap!

Function of the valve control:
A special control unit monitors the vehicle’s speed If the speed exceeds a fixed value (70 km/h), the exhaust flap’s servomotor receives a signal to open. The exhaust gas flow is then bypassed and you get a different sound. If the speed of the vehicle drops below the fixed value (70 km/h), the exhaust flap closes again automatically.
