For cars that have only one (RH) rear silencer as original, you can either mount the RH rear sports silencer on its own, or both the LH and RH sports rear silencers so long as you use the link pipe (part number M6-2) together with the adaptor A63-…VW. In order to mount the LH rear silencer an original equipment rubber hanger with the part number BP47-40-061A is required.
Important note on installing Bastuck components:
Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
