The rear silencers can also be mounted alone on 2.0l Turbo models. The adapter A70-60.5VW is required for mounting. On diesel models it is not possible to install the complete system. Only the rear silencers can be mounted alone using the adapter A70-54.5VW.
Using the remote control AG/FB-EP, the exhaust flap can be opened manually. It will be opened permanently afterwards. Not permitted in public road traffic! The remote control is included when purchasing the rear silencers with exhaust flap!
Function of the valve control:
A special control unit monitors the vehicle’s speed If the speed exceeds a fixed value (70 km/h), the exhaust flap’s servomotor receives a signal to open. The exhaust gas flow is then bypassed and you get a different sound. If the speed of the vehicle drops below the fixed value (70 km/h), the exhaust flap closes again automatically.

Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
