For 1.5l Turbo models, only the rear silencer can be fitted using adapter A80-60.5/100 and clamps SCH59 and SCH82 alone. For fitting the rear silencer BMWF22-76. the bracket BMWF22-BRKT1 (RH) and for fitting the rear silencer BMWF22-(K/)Q... the brackets BMWF20-BRKT1 (RH) and BMWF20-BRKT2 (LH) are additionally required! For vehicles that do not have an M rear bumper as standard, it is recommended to use the original BMW rear bumper from the M240i when fitting the BMWF22-(K/)Q90... rear silencer. For vehicles that have an M rear bumper as standard, we recommend using the BMWF22-HE2 HS insert when fitting the BMWF22-(K/)Q90... rear silencer and the BMWF22-HE1 rear bumper insert when fitting the BMWF22-(K/)Q85... rear silencer. It is not possible to fit the BMWF22-(K/)Q85... rear silencer on vehicles with automatic tailgate operation and fold-out trailer coupling!

Using the remote control AG/FB-EP, the exhaust flap can be opened manually. It will be opened permanently afterwards. Not permitted in public road traffic! The remote control is included when purchasing the rear silencers with exhaust flap!
Function of the valve control:
A special control unit monitors the vehicle’s speed If the speed exceeds a fixed value (70 km/h), the exhaust flap’s servomotor receives a signal to open. The exhaust gas flow is then bypassed and you get a different sound. If the speed of the vehicle drops below the fixed value (70 km/h), the exhaust flap closes again automatically.

Important note on installing Bastuck components:
Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
