The mounting of the rear silencer on its own is not possible. The complete system must be mounted. The Quattro systems can only be mounted on E82 coupé models with M-series rear bumper. On E82 coupé without M-series rear bumper the Quattro systems cannot be mounted. The rear valance insert E82-HE1 or E82-HE1/CS is required when mounting the Quattro systems. On models with a tube diameter of 63,5 mm on the original catalytic converter, no adaptor is required to mount the complete system.
Important note on installing Bastuck components:
Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
