The rear silencers can be mounted on their own, but the adaptor A63-...VW is necessary. It is also possible to use the rear silencer AUA3/8P-... or AUA3/8P-Q... of the Audi 8P but it is necessary to cut the rear valance on the left side in order to mount the rear silencer AUA3/8P-… and to cut the rear valance on both the left and the right side if you want to mount the rear silencer AUA3/8P-Q... If mounting the rear silencer AUA3/8P-Q… it is recommended that the rear valance VWG5-HE1 is used instead of the original rear valance in order to avoid having to cut the original rear valance.
Important note on installing Bastuck components:
Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
