The complete system must be mounted. For mounting of the exhaust system on BMW Mini Diesel models the brackets BMWMI BRKT1 and BMWMI-BRKT2 as well as 2 x ROMI-G1 rubber hangers are required in addition to the link pipes BMWMI-VBD and BMWMI-CS2P. In order to avoid having to cut the original rear valance it is recommended that the rear valance insert BMWMI-HE3 and/or BMWMI-HE3/05 is used.
Important note on installing Bastuck components:
Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
