The rear silencers can be mounted on their own, but the adaptor A63-...VW is required. If mounting a rear silencer with 2 x double tailpipes LH+RH, it is recommended that the rear valance A3/8P-F/HE1 or A3/8P-F/HE1CS for Audi A3 8P facelift from 2008 onwards Sportback 5 doors is used instead of the original rear valance in order to avoid having to cut the original rear valance. When using the rear valance A3/8P-F/HE1 or A3/8PF/HE1CS, the rear silencer AUA3/8P-QSB on A3 8P Facelift Sportback 5 doors has to be mounted!
Important note on installing Bastuck components:
Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
