Bastuck is now offering a high-quality sports exhaust system for the entry-level model of the renowned Mercedes SL series. This sporty stainless steel system is equipped with ECE approval and can be purchased with or without an exhaust flap.
The Mercedes SLK 350 is already much more than just a basic model. Its sporting heritage is evident both visually and in terms of performance. Bastuck has therefore developed a sports exhaust system that underlines these sporty characteristics. The SLK 350 is equipped with Bastuck's characteristic, sonorous sound.
The complete sports exhaust system for the Mercedes SLK 350 (R172) consists of a front silencer and a rear silencer. Bastuck offers the rear silencer in different versions. The "Twin" Rear silencer (with a single tailpipe LH+RH, 1x Ø 54 mm) is available with both right and left tailpipes and harmonizes perfectly with the standard tailpipe covers. Alternatively, there is the “Quattro E” variant. (with double tailpipe, 2x Ø 70 mm LH+RH, with lip).
Both for the "Twin" as well as the "Quattro" Bastuck has developed a version of the rear silencer with an exhaust flap. The scope of delivery includes a radio remote control (Attention: Not approved for use in public traffic - exclusively for racing purposes!). The required cable set including control unit is also included. As an option, Bastuck also offers a replacement pipe for the front silencer (Attention: Not approved for use in public traffic - exclusively for racing purposes!).

Important note on installing Bastuck components:
Please note that Bastuck sports exhaust systems are generally designed for optimal performance with larger pipe diameters and adapted pipe runs.
Possible adjustments:
- Due to the different dimensions and pipe routing compared to standard systems, adjustments may be necessary during installation.
- Since Bastuck has developed certain components (e.g., center silencers) as part of a complete exhaust system, smooth integration into standard systems is not always guaranteed.
- Possible adjustments may affect the length and/or bends of the pipes.
Recommendation for installation by a specialist workshop:
Bastuck strongly recommends having installation carried out by a qualified specialist workshop. This specialist workshop has the necessary expertise and equipment to professionally carry out any necessary adjustments and ensure an optimal fit.
