The RP-1 compound is based on state-of-the-art carbon-aramid technology, developed for extreme thermal cycles and constant friction coefficients.

Outstanding Modulation: The RP-1 provides an extremely precise pedal feel. Braking force correlates directly with pedal pressure, minimizing the risk of locking up the wheels.

Extreme Heat Resistance: This pad operates stably within a temperature window of up to 800°C. It is designed to show no fading, even during consecutive fast laps.

EBC Racing RP-1 was developed exclusively for competition use. It does not have ECE-R90 approval and is therefore not permitted for use on public roads.
Pro Tip: RP-1 unfolds its full strength on high-carbon discs such as the EBC Blade Disc or multi-part EBC Racing Floating Discs. Ensure a correct bed-in phase on the track to achieve maximum service life.
